Important Update on eBook Availability

For the last couple of years, I’ve offered my e-books widely across multiple platforms like Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo, and my own website. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered a significant amount of fraudulent activity, with numerous attempts at processing fake credit card transactions through my store. This has been a frustrating and time-consuming issue, and it’s something that many independent authors are currently facing.

Because of these challenges, I’ve made the difficult decision to return to an exclusive partnership with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). This means that my e-books will now be available only on Amazon. On the bright side, they will all soon be enrolled in Kindle Unlimited which will make some readers very happy.

My paperbacks and audiobooks will continue to remain wide.

For readers without a Kindle device

If you don’t own a Kindle e-reader—no problem! You can still read my books easily using the free Kindle app, available for nearly any device, including Apple iPads and iPhones, Android tablets and phones, or even your computer.

Just download the Kindle app from your device’s app store and sign in with your Amazon account. Once you’ve purchased one of my books (or borrowed it through Kindle Unlimited), it will automatically appear in your Kindle library and sync across all your devices. You’ll be able to adjust the font size, background color, and reading layout—just like on a Kindle device.

If you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited, you’ll be able to read as many of my enrolled titles as you like at no additional cost beyond your monthly subscription.

I want to be transparent: I am disappointed these fraudulent attempts have led to this change, and I truly appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. The move to exclusivity will help ensure a more secure and seamless experience for everyone.

As the books enter the Kindle Unlimited program, I’ll update you in future emails.

Thank you so much for your loyalty and for being part of this journey with me. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Happy reading,

 Colin
